Big News! Simplicity In The South Is Moving!

When I started Simplicity In The South 3 1/2 short months ago, I tried out both WordPress and Blogger. Given my limited knowledge of blogging, I found Blogger easier to use, so I chose to stay with that platform. Now that I know that I really enjoy blogging and have a better understanding of how everything works (although I still have tons to learn), I've decided to move the blog over to a self-hosted WordPress site while Simplicity In The South is still young. It will be much easier to make the move now rather than waiting till there is a lot more content to move over. The plugins that are available will help keep the blog more organized for my readers and will help me with time management. I use my Iphone constantly for edits and responding to comments. The app for WordPress is very user-friendly.

Unfortunately, I cannot move my Google Friends Connect followers with me. Google has discontinued GFC for all non-Blogger blogs. If you are already subscribed by email or RSS feed, you will still get updates to Simplicity In The South.

If you are a Google Friends Connect follower, please use the box in the sidebar to subscribe to the RSS or email updates. You can also follow with Google+, Bloglovin, or Linky Followers, whichever you prefer! I'd love for you to continue to follow along!

The blog has also gotten a makeover, so come check it out at
Simplicityinthesouth.com

If everything goes as planned, the new website should be ready today!

I want to send a very special thank you to Sara at Moonsteam Designs who helped move me over to the new website and redesigned the blog. I couldn't have done it without her talent!
